Our 8 year old son Bobby, had a wonderful and unforgettable experience snorkeling and swimming with turtles. The guides, captain and photographer were more than helpful and encouraging. Breno took the extra time to coach Bobby in free diving and as an elementary school principal and parent of a third grader I couldln't have asked for more! It was the highlight of our visit to Bonaire. Thank you.

We went on the the snorkel tour on May 7, 2010, our last day on Bonaire, and enjoyed every minute. Very well organised and guided, great & enthusiastic team - all people who love what they do. Thanks Dee, for letting me try one of your masks - more comfortable and no leakage any more! Very impressed by your free diving skills, too.

My husband and I went on the morning guided snorkel on April 29, 2010 and it was indeed the highlight of our cruise on the Caribbean Princess. We had no experience with snorkeling when we got on the boat, but with Deidre's assistance we were fitted with the proper gear, given instruction and had a great time looking at sea turtles, many fish and the coral reef. (I didn't mention that I'm a non-swimmer and we are 60 years old...it's never too late to try something new!) The crew is the best!!!!!!!

I contacted Woodwind a week before our cruise. Initially Ulf responded tha they were all booked but then recontacted me to say that tehy were going to have a second boat and woudl be at the dock at 7:30. ure enough De I was traveling with my family, so we had 9 who wanted to snorkel. Ads promised De was on the dock at 7:30 and she was our guide on without a doubt the best snokel expereince we have ever had. Their attention to detail from making sure we wree all fitted correctly with our masks and knew a couple of basic in water hand signs so that we could communicate to after snorkel snakc was unsurpassed. After we returned to the ship, we compared notes with some passengers who had gone with a Princess sponsored trip and clearly we had a superior experience. The reefs and fish were beutiful at Klein Bonaire and the water was crystal clear. We felt entirely safe and were carefuly looked after by De, Laurel, Orlando, and Olivia.

Our family (9 of us) went on a snorkeling trip with "Dee" and her crew while we were on a cruise. It was one of the most fun and enjoyable things we did on the entire vacation. Woodwind Cruises goes totally above and beyond in what they provide. From the beginning, they provided expert instruction on how to snorkel, including what to do if goggles fog up, how to keep water from getting in, etc. I have been on other snorkel excursions, and I have never gotten such helpful instructions. When we got into the water, "D" was great about diving down to point out specific types of fish and telling us about them. She is truly an expert, and she is happy to share her knowledge. When we got onto the boat, they had wonderful (and plenty of) food and drinks for us at no extra charge. If someone needed to get out of the water for any reason, they were super-responsive and super-quick to help the person get back into the boat. I would recommend Woodwind Cruises to anyone who is going to be in Bonaire and wants to snorkel.

Brilliant! We were a little nervous and inexperienced but Dee and her crew took such great care of us and gave us the most wonderful experience. We saw hundreds of fish - all shapes/sizes and colours - and many turtles. Definitely the highlight of our Sea Princess Cruise.

We've already read good things about Woodwind's snorkel tour in Bonaire and we were looking forward to do it. It was probably the best tour we took in our 7 night cruise through the Caribbean! Dee and Breno were really helpful and it didn't matter if you were new in business or a really experienced snorkeler, they handled it extremely well!

By far the best snorkling I've ever done. This group is top notch and professional. The price is extremely fair and their equipment is very good. The "float as you" go with the tide makes it very easy and there were thousands of fish and at least 9 turtles. We bought the pictures from the photographer that dives with each group. Visitamos el 05 de Enero del 2010 Bonaire y tomamos este magnífico crucero con mi esposa y mis dos hijos, la priemra vez que hacíamos snorkel y fue estupendo, el guía es excelente instructor y nos llevó por más de 1 hora bajo el agua, pudimos ver barracudas, tortugas, morenas, y peces de diferentes colores. Fue maravilloso!! Muchas gracias!

Wonderful!! For a person who is terrified of the water, using a mask and snorkel, afraid to do new things....I had an amazing trip to snorkel! I was safe, listened to and watched very carefully while in the water. Drifting was great, I didn't have to do anything but be in the water. I actually saw ten turtles and a Dorie fish. My thanks for a wonderful, wonderful experience.

My wife and I had a wonderful time on 17th November 2009 when we visited on the Sea Princess. Best underwater views I have ever seen. All the crew were outstanding and we had the best time ever. Looking forward to the next time. Aidan & Diane Jones, UK

Thanks again for a marvelous afternoon of drift snorkeling (Nov 30, 2009). Seeing not one but four turtles was probably the high point of the trip. This was my third time on the Woodwind and I'm looking forward to a fourth on my next visit to Bonaire.

Its impossible NOT to love this tour! I was in Bonaire because my husband was on a scuba trip and not being a swimmer or diver wasn't expecting to do anything but relax. Luckily I found Woodwind tours! Even though I'm a very weak swimmer, Dee and her team were so accomodating and helpful it was really easy to do. I felt like I was in a gigantic aquarium. It was absolutely wonderful.

As a frequent Woodwind-er I can honestly say that the snorkel tour provided by Dee and her crew is a must for any Bonaire visitor. I enjoy introducing first time guests at our Lighthouse Beach Resort villa to the Woodwind guided snorkel. It is the best value on the island. Also, a big thanks to Ulf for coming to our rescue when our rental truck battery went dead and we almost missed our trip. See you again soon.

Many thanks for making Bonaire our favorite stop. We were on the Caribbean Princess, the last ship for the season. My sister was very frightened to snorkel and Dee was so sweet and patient and helpful to her. Checked on her continually, came back to hold her hand and help her paddle back to the boat when she realized she was tiring. You and Tina did a wonderful job. I have snorkeled a few times before and have to say that the Woodwind tour was by far the most informative/professional group I have gone with. I missed my original tour Thursday April 16th and boy was I glad when we were able to join this group. Overall it was an excellent day and there was so much to see. I believe I saw 7 or more sea turtles and they were close up.

What a wonderful experience on the Woodwind! I was recently in Bonaire, from a cruise ship and had an awesome time with Dee and her crew. My first time snorkeling (what a place to try a first!). Dee was so great at helping out, pointing out the sea life, making "first-timers" feel safe, etc. One of the most awesome experiences I've ever had. Thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed our snorkel tour with you in March. When we shared details of our snorkel experience with others on our cruise ship, they were very jealous of the personal experience we received while on your catamaran. We will definitely recommend you to everyone we know!!

Our family of 5 went on a drift snorkel with Woodwind. We had the best time ever. Dee has eyes like a hawk for every underwater creature. She dove down and pointed everything out to us.The fitting of the mask, fins and snorkel were key for a successful day on the water. The time taken to complete this task made all the difference. We only had a day since we were in Bonaire on a cruise ship but I would love to spend a week diving and snorkeling with Woodwind.Very professional and dependable. Aida Fans: you have to book this tour. Dee will pick you up at the end of the pier, its 5 minutes walk to the boat and we paid usd 45 each (incl all drinks). Never snorkelt!! Do this tour, they show you how its done. Its not only for young people and you will never ever forget what you see!

WOW, What a snorkel trip. Dedrie did an awesome job of pointing out all the different marine life. She was so accomondating to everyone. This was an unbelievable adventure and thanks for taking us on it. I thought snorkeling in the Caymans was awesome. Dedrie topped that trip 100x's over. If you go to Bonaire please look for Dedrie right outside the gates. She is the beautiful woman holding the sign for Woodwind Cruises.

Thank you so much Dee for the highlight trip of our entire cruise. We came to Bonaire from The Sea Princess on the 7th January 2009. The whole excursion was so pleasurable we in our party all enjojed every moment. Your knowledge of the sea life was amazing and informative. I would definately reccomend anybody visiting Bonaire to snorkle with Dee and her crew. The ultimate for me was the company I had when a turtle swam with me it was unbelievable.

We visited Bonaire on December 27, 2008, and had a fabulous time! The scenery was fantastic - my whole family was thrilled to be able to snorkel with sea turtles. The crew was extremely attentive - some of the most experienced crew we've ever snorkeled with. They worked a lot with my 6 year old daughter, who was apprehensive at first. They even fit my Dad and Uncle, who both have mustaches, with masks that didn't leak. A first!!! Also, plenty of drink and a fabulous lunch. We loved the drift snorkel idea - so much easier than fighting those currents. One suggestion from us northerners who aren't used to the scorching equatorial sun - reapply your sunscreen BETWEEN the two snorkel stops. With the breeze on the boat, we didn't realize how strong the sun really was, and a few in our group had pink backs. However, even with that, it was still the best snorkeling experience we have ever had. Bravo!

Bonaire is one of the remaining truly beautiful Caribbean islands. The two dives with fantastic underwater views of coral and marine life. To top things off plenty of food and drinks of choice with practiced attention by the crew to all of those on the tour. An absolutely incredible day of snorkeling, one of the best I've ever had - and we live in Florida. The boat and the tour operation is to be commended. De and her crew maintian a safe dive while creating a most pleasant atmosphere, all of this is done with Caribbean ease. No problems at all to do this one again, right now would be good.

I took both a snorkeling cruise and a sunset cruise on a recent visit to Bonaire. Diedre is an excellent skipper/hostess. The undersea scenery is fantastic!

we had a fantastic time on the 28/11/08. EVERYBODY on the boat was so helpful,friendly,accomodating,on our 14 day honeymoon this was one of the best days and experiences- we're sure Dee was a mermaid in a previous life.

Just a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed our visit to Bonaire and
especially our sailing/snorkeling trip on the Woodwind on November 14,
2008. Bonaire is absolutely beautiful and the excursion was truly one of
the high points of our 10-day Caribbean cruise. Dee and Tina (?) were such
gracious hosts and fantastic guides on the drift snorkeling. We have
snorkeled at many reefs around the world and have never before been
accompanied by a guide who would snorkel along with us and identify all of
the beautiful marine life we were observing. The water was also unusually
clear and the sights were just amazing. The boat itself was wonderful too,
as were the plentiful drinks and food!

We also loved that Nina from Capture Photo was able to accompany us on the
trip and take so many cool underwater photos. We did not want our day in
Bonaire to end, but with our purchase of the full disk of photos from our
Woodwind trip, we will never forget our great time there.

Hi Dee and Ulf! I just wanted to take a minute and write you a line telling you how much we appreciated our trip with you.

Each year I lead a group of friends on trips around the Caribbean and each year I am tasked with the job of finding great excursions. Finding you guys was by far one of my greater accomplishments. From the time we stepped on board to the time we dis-embarked, we were treated with complete professionalism and superior customer service. The snorkeling was awesome and much more educational than any trip I have taken in the past. THE SNORKELS WERE FIRST RATE, AND WE DID SEE ALOT OF BEAUTIFUL FISH AND CORAL. DEE IS THE BEST TEACHER AND GUIDE, BUT I CAN'T RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT MY FIRST NIGHT SNORKEL.. WE SAW A LOT THAT YOU DON'T SEE DURING THE DAY. DEE I JUST READ AN ARTICLE ABOUT USUNG TOOTHPASTE FOR ALL KINDS OF STINGS, TO HELP STOP PAIN. WE'RE FINE AND SPOKE TO KOHNS WHEN WE GOT HOME. HI KIDS, WE WILL BE DOWN TO BONAIRE SAT. DEC 1 WE WILL BE IN TOUCH AND BOOK SOME SNORKELS. FROM THE COMMENTS, THERE IS A NEW ADDITION. Dear Owners of the Woodwind,

We thank you for the fine day we had on your catamaran.
We enjoyed the trip to little Bonaire and the other place where we snorkeled.
When we come again to Bonaire we will spend another day with you.
We tell friends and college’s that the must spend a day with you.
Hopefully every thing is alright with the kids and the coming baby.

We had a great time with you in April '04 on a day trip and the night snorkel. My 11 and 12 year old boys did extremely well on the trips, better than I'd hoped for. My youngest still talks about taking the helm on the way back and the extra ride we had in the skiff. We've been counting down the days (since October) til we arrive again 4-16-05. We excitedly look forward to sailing with you both again.

I just returned from a Sunday full-day sail and snorkel with Ulf and his crew! What a fantastic day! Great sailing, great snorkeling, great food, and great company! Thank you for a wonderful day.

My boyfriend John and I went on a drift snorkel when were in Bonaire just before Christmas. I can't went to go snorking with Dee again! She is a lovely, knowledgible, personable, woman who is dedicated to pointing out everything she sees to her customers. I'd highly recommend the drift snorkel to Klein Bonaire and the night snorkel. Knowing how nervous I was about the night snorkel, Dee kept me under her wing.

We have been with Dee on the BBQ trip, night snorkel, and day snorkel in 2003 and 2004- can't wait to join in again this summer.

The crew of the woodwind were excellent and my wife and I highly recommend them. Dee is amazing at spotting the underwater wildlife of Bonaire! Dee was even able to help my wife out with some sea-sickness, and help me identify some of the more unique creatures I encountered on our journey in Bonaire.
